Flight training in San Antonio, Texas

Reach For Skies is a veteran-owned flight school at Stinson Municipal Airport.

A school built around the student

Reach For Skies helps people explore aviation and develop their skills through personalized flight training. Our school serves aspiring pilots taking their first steps, students pursuing a private pilot certificate, and pilots working toward an instrument rating. Our approach emphasizes preparation, accountability, and instruction that responds to how each student learns.

The people behind Reach For Skies

The school is owned and managed by Daniel Saenz, an Iraq and Afghanistan combat veteran who served twelve years on active duty in the U.S. Army. Our instruction team includes David Hathaway, a retired Air Force Colonel and former F-16 instructor pilot, alongside Aaron Kuderer and Kyle Kruger. Together, the ownership and instruction team shape a student-first school grounded in disciplined preparation and personal attention.
